Fondue is a dish of melted cheese served in a caquelon and is eaten by dipping cubes of bread in it using long-stemmed forks. It is prepared using a mixture of cheeses, wine and seasonings. There are a few non-alcoholic recipes as well.

It originates from Switzerland and the French Savoyard. The word fondue comes from the French verb fondre which means to melt. It was introduced in North America around the 1960s. it is popularized as switzerland’s national dish.
The term fondue is used in different capacities as well , such as the chocolate fondue is a chocolate version of the cheese fondue , Fondue chinoise is a common name for a hot pot and Fondue bourguignonne consists of a fondue pot filled with hot oil into which diners dip pieces of meat to cook them.
Well as the Swiss say, fondue is good and creates a good mood.
