Shan style noodles!

Shan style noodles or Shan Khao Swé is a popular Burmese delicacy. It is a satisfying and easy recipe!

Shan noodles are now a favorite in the Land of Golden Pagodas, although it is more common in the Mandalay region as well as the Shan state, where it originated. Shan is the easternmost state of Myanmar.
Shan noodles is made of chicken or pork cooked in tomatoes, is served over a bed of rice noodles. It can be served with broth or without it as well. When served with broth, it is often served on the side. Shan noodles are also typically served with pickled mustard greens [monnyinjin], and sometimes with fried chickpea tofu [tohu nway]

Typically Shan noodles are eaten for breakfast! Shan noodles can be either made as a soup or a salad. In both cases, the sauce remains the same but the noodles are cooked in a different way.
